  4. ACLEDA Securities Plc. is the subsidiary company invested 100% by ACLEDA Bank Plc.

  5. 3. What is ACLEDA Securities Plc.? And what services is it providing?
  6. ACLEDA Securities Plc. is the securities firm that registered under the law of the Kingdom of Cambodia and firstly got license from the competent authorities of securities sector "Securities and Exchange Commission of Cambodia [SECC]". ACLEDA Securities Plc. provides the following services:

    • Securities Brokerage services
    • Bondholders' Representative and
    • Securities Selling Agent
  7. 4. What is securities brokerage service?
  8. Securities brokerage services are the purchase or sale of securities on behalf of and by order of its clients for a commission fee.

  9. 5. What is a Bondholders' Representative Service?
  10. A bondholders' representative protects the bondholders' rights vis-à-vis the issuer. For the issuer the bondholders' representative acts as a single point of contact representing the bondholders.

  11. 6. What is a Securities Selling Agent Service?
  12. Securities Selling Business refers to the securities selling business to the public that is in agreement with the underwriters in the public offering process.

    • Form for book building at IPO
      Following the approval of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Cambodia on the request for a public offering, the company, with the assistance of the underwriters, has to make a public book building to invite investors to participate.
    • Form for subscription at IPO
      After the booking stage is completed, investors will be required to joint subscription for a specified time period.
  13. 7. How can I buy securities of a company listed on the CSX?
    1. Choose a securities firm of your choice
      You could reach any of the 10 securities firms who are members of the CSX, and they will assist you in account opening.
    2. Open a trading account at a chosen securities firm
      Requirement:
      • Citizen ID card/passport for foreigner and a photo size 4x6
      • An investor ID (securities firm can help file the request to SECC)
    3. When to start trading?
      At least one day after the account opening, investor can have orders placed to the CSX.
  14. 8. How do I open a trading account?
  15. To open a trading account we need to have:

    • National ID card or Passport (Foreigner) along with a 4 × 6 photo
    • Investor ID (securities firm can assist with securities approval from SECC)
  16. 9. How can we place order?
  17. Trading uses in such ways as:

    • In writing at the counter
    • By phone or email
    • MTS: Mobile Trading System
  18. 10. What is the trading day and hour?
    • Trading Days: Trading days shall be from Monday to Friday except public holidays.
    • Trading Hours: Trading hours shall be determined based on trading method in use as the following:
      • Auction Trading Method (ATM)
        The trading hours shall be from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm and shall be divided into sessions as follows:
      • Session Ordering Time Trading Time Auction Method
        Opening 08:00 - 09:00 AM 09:00 AM Single Price Auction
        Continuous 09:00 AM - 02:50 PM Multiple Price Auction
        Closing 02:50 - 03:00 PM 03:00 PM Single Price Auction
        Note: If there are no orders matched at 09:00 am, the opening session shall be extended until there is a matching during the day.
      • Negotiated Trading Method (NTM): The trading hours shall be from 09:00 am to 3:00 pm.
  19. 11. How does ACLEDA Securities charge? And at what rate?
  20. ACLEDA Securities Plc. Will provide its clients with reasonable fees according to market and securities regulations. And there is a rate of 0.55% minimum 4,000 riel on the successful transaction.

  21. 12. Is there a charge for transferring from ACLEDA Bank's account to ACLEDA Securities' trading account and transfer from ACLEDA Securities' trading account to ACLEDA Bank's account?
  22. Transfer from ACLEDA Bank's account to ACLEDA Securities trading account and transfer from ACLEDA Securities trading account to your bank account at ACLEDA Bank are free of charge for the following transactions:

    • Transfer in/out to/from trading account at branch in Phnom Penh
    • Transfer to trading account from all branches
    • Transfer in/out to/from trading account by ACLEDA Toanchet.

    However, the transfer from trading account to all branches outside of Phnom Penh is charged 0.08% Riel 4,000.

  23. 13. How can I connect a bank account with ACLEDA Bank and trading account at ACLEDA Securities?
  24. In order to be able to link a bank account with ACLEDA Bank and trading account at ACLEDA Securities, customers have to fill out a written request or instant request via ACLEDA Toanchet.
