LOLC (Cambodia) Plc. 

LOLC Cambodia was established in 1994 by Catholic Relief Services, a US-based international no-profit organization, to enable rural women to gain access to financial services. Known as Thaneakea Phum (Cambodia) or TPC, LOLC Cambodia became the kingdoms first registered microfinance institution in 1990, and has played one of the leading roles in the development Cambodias micro-lending sector. Following the acquisition of the majority stake in the Company by LOMI (LOLC Micro Investments Ltd.), TPC was renamed to LOLC (Cambodia) Plc. in 2015. During the same year, LOLC Cambodia obtained a microfinance deposit-taking institution (MDI) license from the central bank, allowing it to broaden its financial products and services to include savings account and fixed deposits.

LOLC Cambodia has a track record of more than 25 years, providing socially responsible microfinance services within Cambodia. Over the last decade, it grew from a financial institution with merely 227 staffs and US$7.5mn in total assets at the end of 2006 into a financial institution with more than 2,065 staffs and US$371.4mn in total assets at the of 2017. During the same period, LOLC Cambodia increased its Gross Loan Portfolio (GLP) by more than 43 folds from US$7.3mn to almost US$32mn, contributing to the improvement in the livelihood of rural Cambodian people by providing loans to meet their financial needs.
