ACLEDA Bank Plc. Signs the Memorandum of Understanding with UnionPay International

Phnom Penh, Date April 22, 2013, ACLEDA Bank Plc., a leading commercial bank for all sectors, the bank you can trust, the bank for the people, hereby announces that it signs the Memorandum of Understanding with UnionPay International Co., Ltd. on payment services (world class payment service) for mutual benefits.

Mr. Xu Luode, President of China UnionPay and Vice-Chairman of UnionPay International, said, "Currently, UnionPay cards reached more than 3.5 billion, UnionPay network has been extended to, including Vietnam, the world's 141 countries and regions, at the same time, UnionPay cards issued in more than 30 foreign countries and regions, as of the end of 2012. The UnionPay network processing bank card transaction volume in excess of $3.7 trillion, the second highest in the world, and will continued to maintain a rapid growth. He will work together with ACLEDA Bank Plc. with the trademark license agreement and show marking the two sides formally opened a new chapter of business cooperation. He hopes ACLEDA Bank Plc is going to fully accept UnionPay card, just like the brand concept, 'UnionPay With You'."
