Listed Companies Forum On the Topic of "Potential of ACLEDA Bank Plc."

Phnom Penh, September 4, 2024, Cambodia Securities Exchange (CSX) and ACLEDA Bank Plc. "ACLEDA Bank", the first listed commercial bank in Cambodia, announces that under the initiative of CSX and ACLEDA Bank to co-organize the "Listed Companies Forum" on the topic of "Potential of ACLEDA Bank Plc.".

It is conducted at ACLEDA Bank's Head Office and participated by the public, local, and international investors. The purpose of today's forum is to promote the potential of ACLEDA Bank in order to enhance the investors to be aware of the Bank's current and future opportunities as well as to provide them with the opportunity to observe directly the activities and progress of the Bank's business operations.

Dr. IN Channy, President & Group Managing Director of ACLEDA Bank, said that ACLEDA Bank is the Cambodia's leading and the most trusted commercial bank serving all segments of the community. ACLEDA Bank is a digital bank that offers a wide range of financial services such as digital banking, credit, deposit, local and international funds transfers, credit-debit cards, trade finance, cash management, and many other banking services. ACLEDA Bank has totally 12,070 Cambodian employees and operations network of 264 branches across Cambodia.

ACLEDA Bank decided to go IPO and successfully listed its shares on the CSX on 25 May 2020. The total 2,496 investors subscribed 4,344,865 shares equal to 1.0031% of the total shares of ACLEDA Bank during the IPO.

As of the end of June 2024, ACLEDA Bank's investors increased by 18,482 equivalent to 35.70% of the total investors on the CSX, while the floating shares on the CSX was 76,098,329 shares equal to 17,5681% of ACLEDA Bank's total shares of 433,163,019 shares. Meanwhile, ACLEDA Bank has a trading volume of 76,773,451 shares and a total market capitalization of 3.29 trillion.

During 2019, the share trading activities on the CSX were:

Total investors: 22,447 trading accounts.
Total trading volume: 15,489,905 shares.
Total listed shares: 305,304,495 shares.
Total market capitalization: 2.81 trillion.

As June 2024, after the presence of ACLEDA Bank on the CSX as a whole, the share trading activities had increased:

Total investors: 51,771 trading accounts.
Total trading volume: 168,807,829 shares.
Total listed shares: 3,128,914,784 shares.
Total market capitalization: 11.21 trillion.

He added that as a listed company, ACLEDA Bank still committed to maintaining the highest standards of corporate governance and transparency to ensure that all stakeholders have accessed to banking information and other benefits with more effectiveness such as the notification of strategic plans, financial statements, dividends, and key initiatives of the Bank.

The ACLEDA Bank's adherence to the best practices for corporate governance has played a key role in attracting and building the confidence of investors and shareholders to participate in the stock market and to have the active trading operations on the continuous basis.
