Term Deposit Machine

Term Deposit Machine is a Self Service Banking of ACLEDA Bank Plc. providing customers with term deposit opening and certificate printing by themselves at all times.

Customers who have accounts with ACLEDA Bank Plc. and have unused cash for a specific period (3 months or more) can open a term deposit by themselves without having to wait at the counter.

To open a term deposit through this machine, you have to access (login) the machine using ACLEDA Debit Card or bank account number with sufficient balance and have a mobile phone to receive the OTP during the transaction.

Types of account and period

You can open all kinds of term deposit in Khmer Riel, US Dollar or Thai Baht depending on the type of source account:

Hi-Growth Term Deposit from 3 months to 24 months.
Hi-Income Term Deposit from 3 months to 24 months.
Long Term Term Deposit from 36 months to 60 months.

Principal

The minimum principal is KHR2,000,000, USD500, or THB20,000.
The maximum principal is unlimited.

Source account

Source account is a bank account that complies with the operating manual on account opening and closing of customer:

Individual accounts: savings accounts (including payroll accounts), current accounts, current accounts for overdrafts, demand deposits, monk accounts.
Joint Account must have the following conditions:

The terms of the account operating state that "Anyone of them may sign".
Fingerprint Enrollment for account members (no limit on the number of members).
All joint account members who have enrolled the fingerprint can open and close term accounts through the Term Deposit Machine.

Effective days

Term deposit opening made by this machine will take effect on the day or the next business day.

Self-service and fees

Customers can make transactions with this term deposit machine by themselves as follows:

Open a term deposit and print a new deposit certificate is free of charge.
Print a replacement deposit certificate is USD5, KHR20,000, or THB200.
