Strategically located between the key growth areas of Thailand (Eastern Seaboard) and Vietnam (Mekong Delta and Ho Chi Minh City) Cambodia is a highly fertile country with tremendous development potential. Despite its traumatic history and inadequate infrastructure, Cambodia’s annual GDP growth rates (Post Crisis average, 1999-2004 according to Asian Development Bank) reached 6.7%, second only China in the Southeast/East Asian Region.
Cambodia’s government is stable, and is pursuing a pro-business reform process within which foreign and domestic investors enjoy generally equal opportunities. As the WTO’s newest member, Cambodia is committed to an open investment and trade regime, both locally and externally. Yet the “Cambodia Opportunity” is not yet well-known internationally, offering unique opportunities to entrepreneurial investors and traders.
“Cambodia Investment, Trade and Infrastructure” is the fourth conference organized by Dataconsult in Cambodia since 1996. Each conference has benefited from active participation of the Prime Minister, principal economic ministers, leading local and international businesspeople with an average attendance of over 200 persons at each conference. The agenda covers a wide range of investment, domestic and foreign trade, and infrastructure aspects of Cambodia.
Attendance at this conference offers the following benefits to participants
Prime Minister H.E. Samdech Hun Sen, Deputy Prime Minister H.E. Sok An and H.E. Senior Minister of Commerce Cham Prasidh and H.E. Senior Minister of Economy and Finance Keat Chhon have confirmed to lead a top-level Ministerial and government team, joined by Cambodian and foreign business decision-makers and strategists.
Cooperating organizations include US ASEAN Business Council, International Business Club of Cambodia chambers of commerce and industry associations from Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and elsewhere.
Hotel reservations should be made directly to selected hotel quoting ref. CITIC
