On August 15, 2008, ACLEDA Bank Chamkar Leu branch celebrates its new office, at Thnal Baek Kaeut village, Svay Teap commune, Chamkar Leu district, Kampong Cham province, Cambodia, under presidency of H.E. Kim Nuth Nittia, Governor of Chamkar Leu District, Mr. Chhay Soeun, Executive Vice President & Chief Finance Officer of ACLEDA Bank, and local and international guests.

Mr. San Chantha, Vice President & Manager of ACLEDA Bank Chamkar Leu branch, said to the distinguished guests that, as of July 31, 2008, ACLEDA Bank Chamkar Leu branch employs 80 staff, total assets is nearly US$8 million, loan outstanding to almost 5,000 customers is more than US$7 million, total deposits from more than 2,000 customers is more than US$1 million, and many customers are using its products and services.

ACLEDA Bank Chamkar Leu branch is relocated and built with high standard as a commercial bank, the two and a half floor building provides a large, healthy and safety working space.

H.E. Kim Nuth Nittia, Governor of Chamkar Leu District, said that the new office of ACLEDA Bank Chamkar Leu branch is established right on time in line with Cambodia's economics, especially in Chamkar Leu district which is growing, sustainable, and receiving a huge increase within these previous years. The growth of ACLEDA Bank Chamkar Leu branch is a proof of the development, strength, and a part of economics' development in Cambodia, especially in Chamkar Leu district.

Mr. Chhay Soeun, Executive Vice President & Chief Finance Officer of ACLEDA Bank, said that ACLEDA has rendered the financial services to customers and the public for 15 years in 216 branches and offices throughout the 24 provinces/towns in Cambodia and 3 branches and offices in Laos.

He deeply thanked to Government, National Bank of Cambodia, Authorities, Shareholder, Board of Directors, all 5,341 staff, and more than 800,000 ACLEDA Bank's customers who joined the development with ACLEDA Bank and to increase its assets to US$645 millions by the end of July, 2008 including the achievement of Chamkar Leu branch.
