ACLEDA Bank Celebrates New Year 2009

PHNOM PENH — December 31, 2008 — Headquarters and all branches of ACLEDA Bank Plc. celebrated the New Year 2009 party for wishing and gathering all employees to strengthen and improve the better relationship and expressing thanks for their efforts.

"Today is a special occasion that the ACLEDA Bank Plc. through the Kingdom of Cambodia celebrate the New Year 2009 for wishing all the best and strengthening the better relationship amongst all employees," Mrs. Long Sothy, a shop steward of the ACLEDA Bank Plc. said.

I would like to extend my deep and sincere thanks to all colleagues who always contribute to implement the strategy of ACLEDA Bank Plc. and succeed the business plan 2008 with the result of over 100% compared to the previous year, and make our bank become the leading one amongst others in the Kingdom of Cambodia, though facing several significant issues such as the increasing of reserves requirement against deposits, credit ceiling limitation of commercial mortgage loan, etc. including the Sunami financial crisis in the world, which make the finance to become a rare resource.

On the special occasion of the New Year 2009, from tomorrow onward, we will implement our new business plan of ACLEDA Bank Plc. by using the competitive strength to serve the customers with high margin products and services, in a sustainable manner which guarantee long-term growth and fully achieve our business plan of 2009.
