On January 09, 2009, ACLEDA Bank Plc. Kampong Thmar branch celebrates its new office, #43, national road No. 6, group 03, Prey Tatrav village, Balang commune, Baray district, Kampong Thom province, Cambodia, under presidency of Governor, Deputy Governor, Police Commissioner, Royal Cambodian Armed Forces Commander of Kampong Thom province, Branch Manager of National Bank of Cambodia in Kampong Thom, Chairman, Vice-chairman, and Board of Directors of ACLEDA Bank, President & CEO of ACLEDA Bank, and local and international guests.

Mr. Leng Meng, Branch Manager, said "ACLEDA Bank Plc. Kampong Thmar branch was established on August 01, 2001 as a district office and managed by Kampong Thom branch. According to the superiority of the good market, it was transformed to full operations branch on November 01, 2007. Currently, ACLEDA Bank Plc. Kampong Thmar has 5 offices: Kampong Thmar branch, Taing Kork office, Baray Commune-Baray District office, Krava Commune-Baray District office, and Taing Krasaing office."

"As of December 31, 2008, ACLEDA Bank Plc. Kampong Thmar branch employs 72 staffs, total assets is more than US$5 million, loan outstanding nearly US$5 million to more than 3,800 customers, receive deposit of nearly US$0.5 million from more than 1,000 customers, and many customers are using our products & services. ACLEDA Bank Plc. Kampong Thmar branch was relocated and built with high standard as a commercial bank, providing a large, healthy and safety working space," he said.

H.E. Nam Tum, Governor of Kampong Thom province, said "The new office of ACLEDA Bank Plc. Kampong Thmar branch is established at the right time, in line with Cambodia's economics, especially in Baray district which is growing, sustainable, and receiving a huge increase within the previous years. The growth of ACLEDA Bank Plc. Kampong Thmar branch is a proof of the development, strength, and a part of economics' development in Cambodia, especially in Baray district."
