On October 23, 2009, ACLEDA Bank Plc. Kampong Thom Branch, located on National road No. 6, Group 1, Balang Lech village, Sangkat Damrei Choan Khla, Stung Sen municipality, Kampong Thom province, was inaugurated under the presidency of H.E. the Deputy Governor of Kampong Thom Province; H.E. the Ambassador of UK; Chief of Mission of Economic Counsel of French Embassy; Delegation of the International Business Club; Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Board of Directors, President & CEO, and management of ACLEDA Bank; and many other distinguished guests.

During this auspicious occasion, Mr. KOY Davun, Vice President & Branch Manager of ACLEDA Bank Plc. Kampong Thom Branch, stated that as of September 30, 2009, Kampong Thom branch had 135 staff, 8 offices, 2 ATMs and 5 POS machines with its total assets over US$7 million, loan portfolio nearly US$6 million with 5,412 clients, deposit nearly US$7.5 million with 14,333 customers; and other customers are using other products and services.

Mr. IN Channy, President & CEO of ACLEDA Bank Plc., said "ACLEDA Bank was founded such sustainability for 16 years ago to provide exclusive financial services for all — both private and public. Currently, ACLEDA Bank had 61 offices built to this standard and others are under construction providing most comfortable and efficient facilities for our customers to conduct their financial affairs. Our investment in our premises is not just about convenience or even image, but demonstrating our long-term commitment to the community to set new standards in integrity, security and transparency in banking and safeguarding the assets of our customers depending on ACLEDA Bank."

He also expressed his deep thanks to the government, the National Bank of Cambodia, the local authorities, shareholders, all 7,137 employees and 900 thousand loyal customers who have always supported and contributed to the development of ACLEDA Bank since it was founded. "The bank's assets have increased to US$880 million as of September 30, 2009 from only US$22.3 million in December 2000 and we expect to reach to US$1,000 million in 2010," he added.

H.E. SOM Sophath, the Deputy Governor of Kampong Thom Province, noticed that "The development of ACLEDA Bank Plc. Kampong Thom Branch is the evidence of the growth and solidarity and also shows the contribution in social activities, glorification of the Art and Sport sector, and economic development of Cambodia, particularly Kampong Thom province."

He also expressed the congratulation and admiration for the effort of management of ACLEDA Bank, especially the management of Kampong Thom Branch, and fully supports and welcomes for the development of the ACLEDA Bank that has provided more benefits to all people in Kampong Thom province.
