ACLEDA Bank Obtains 2012 Most Admired ASEAN Enterprises Awards

Phnom Penh — November 17, 2012 — ACLEDA Bank Plc., the bank you can trust, is announcing today that it obtains 2012 Most Admired ASEAN Enterprises Awards for the category of Growth and Employment from the ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC).
The ASEAN Business Advisory Council has once again launched the ASEAN Business Awards to recognise the most outstanding and successful ASEAN companies contributing to ASEAN's economic growth and prosperity. The awards will carry on to identifying "Most Admired ASEAN Enterprises" conferred into the categories of Growth, Employment, Innovation and Corporate Social Responsibility and presented to both larger scale companies and small-and-medium enterprises (SMEs) from Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippine, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
The award for the category of Growth has been evaluated based on judging criteria such as percentage of profit growth, long-term version for sustainable growth, return on investment, return on assets and percentage of annual revenue growth.
The award for the category of Employment has been evaluated relied on judging criteria such as number of new jobs created, staff retention rate, training expense per employee, creation of a positive work environment, availability of good health care and proper appraisal system.
