Grand Opening of Krong Bavet Branch New Office

On January 17, 2014, ACLEDA Bank Krong Bavet Branch; located along National Road No. 1, Bavet Kandal Village, Sangkat Bavet, Krong Bavet, Svay Rieng Province, Cambodia; celebrates its grand opening of its new office presided over by H.E. Deputy Governor of Svay Rieng Province; all levels of authorities; the Board of Directors, President & Group CEO and management of ACLEDA Bank; as well as many other distinguished guests.
Mr. ENG Chandara, Vice President & Branch Manager of Krong Bavet Branch, stated, "As of December 31, 2013, Krong Bavet Branch has 04 offices; 108 staff; total assets of over US$14 million; 4,317 customers crediting US$12.25 million; 11,810 customers depositing US$13.25 million and many other customers using other services including ACLEDA Unity and VISA Credit Card. Moreover, we have three ATMs to serve customers holding ACLEDA Card, ACLEDA VISA Card, and other banks VISA Card globally."
"This new building is built as ACLEDA Bank's standard with three and a half stories hight and large working and serving space for security, fire prevention, energy reserve, convenience and sound environment. This is a remarkable achievement in Krong Bavet Branch during this year and shows the strength and ongoing improvement in serving best financial services rapidly, reliably, and safely to meet the needs of all customers," he added.
On this important occasion, Dr. IN Channy, President & Group CEO of ACLEDA Bank Plc., said, "Long term sustainability is a vital vision of ACLEDA Bank. He also expressed his heartfelt thanks to the government, the National Bank of Cambodia, the local authorities, shareholders, all 9,451 employees and over 1.5 million loyal customers who have always supported us. With all their supports, ACLEDA Bank's net profit after tax has increased to US$77,9 million, assets have increased from only US$22.3 million in December 2000 to US$2,324.6 million by the end of December 2013. In 2014, ACLEDA Bank is modernizing its operations both organizational structure and information technology system including ACLEDA Unity — a bank service using mobile phones, and ATM cash withdrawal/deposit machine and ACLEDA POS — an electronic machine for being used with all ACLEDA Cards and other bank cards conveniently and safely to satisfy our customers both private and public institutions for 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.

H.E. SUM Socheat, Deputy Governor of Svay Rieng Province, said, "ACLEDA Bank Krong Bavet Branch was established while the national economy, especially Krong Bavet is being progressed with sustainability and growth beyond expectation in the last few years. The development of ACLEDA Bank Krong Bavet Branch is the evidence of the growth and solidarity and also shows the contribution in developing the economy of Cambodia especially Krong Bavet Branch. This is proof of Krong Bavet Branch for its rapid growth of its operations, organizational structure and business effectiveness. That development has provided more benefit to all people and businessmen in the province through its financing and products. This is the main key in increasing the job opportunity, income, economic development and people's living standard in the province."
