Top Up 20th Floor Ceremony of New Building of ACLEDA Bank Plc. Headquarters

Phnom Penh, August 8, 2014, ACLEDA Bank Plc., the bank you can trust, the bank for the people, and the Cambodia's leading commercial bank, has announced today it celebrates a Top Up 20th Floor Ceremony of New Building of ACLEDA Bank Plc. Headquarters located at #61, Preah Monivong Bolevard., Sangkat Srah Chork, Khan Daun Penh, Phnom Penh, Kingdom of Cambodia.

The main purposes of celebrating the ceremony are:

  1. To celebrate the milestone achievement of quality architectural building completed as plan.
  2. In accordance to Khmer Ancient Tradition, we are getting together to pray for great safety avoidance of all typical natural disaster.

The New Land Mark Building spacious 43,000 sqm constructing on the land area of 5,178 sqm has been designed by internationally and reputable companies renowned Aedas, the Architect Consultant. iLi Consulting Engineers Mekong Ltd. is the Civil & Structure Consultant. Optima Consultant Ltd. is MEP Consultant. And BK Asia Pacific is the Quantity Surveying Consultant. This new land mark building has been constructing by HYUNDAI ENGINEERING CORPORATION, which is one of the professional and reputable construction companies in South Korea as well as in the world, with successful record in Cambodia.

On December 17, 2012, it celebrated the ground breaking ceremony of the new building which will be the modern high-rise 20 floor land mark building with 4 basements and one additional floor on existing building. It is constructed with international standard, providing a large, healthy and comfortable working space which can accommodate over two thousand staff, 703 vehicles, and canteen for staff. It's constructed with special attention on security, energy conservation, fire protection, centralized network monitoring and communication, and IT support system. It is projected to expense roughly USD 73.6 million.

Over the past seven years, the existing 6-story headquarters building office spacing 6,083 sqm has been accommodated 500 headquarters staff, and with the parking lots for 168 vehicles. By the end of July 2014, the total staff reached 11,529 (male: 6,932 and female: 4,597) of which 1,430 of them are headquarters staff, and this number estimated to increase to 1,774 for the next five years. By investing in the constructing of this new land mark building with special attention on security, convenience and comfort, ACLEDA Bank Plc. would even affirm with high commitment and great effort to best serve its smart substantial customers in all segments of community, it continues to confirm the sustainable mutual growth with its smart customers which inspire the optimum level of public trust and confidence guiding by its long term strategies.

The New Land Mark Building structure has recently been completed the 20th floor on July 13, 2014 and its whole structures will be finished in March 2015, and the fit-out works estimated to be completed in August 2015, and the staff work station will move into this new land mark Building by September 2015.
