Signing Memorandum of Understanding Between AFD and ACLEDA Bank Plc.

Mr. Pascal Pacaut, Asia Department Director of AFD, and Dr. So Phonnary, President and Group Managing Director a.i of ACLEDA Bank Plc., signing the agreement.

Phnom Penh, May 19, 2015, ACLEDA Bank Plc., and a number one bank in all sectors among banks in Cambodia, hereby announces that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Agence Française de Développement (AFD) in boosting the development of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Cambodia through ACLEDA Bank Plc.'s business financing activities.

Under the agreement, ACLEDA Bank Plc. and AFD will establish a basis framework for further collaboration and cooperation to assist commercial banks by providing them with some risk-sharing financial products, such as the single deal guarantee scheme provided which included: guarantee coverage of the loans, possible maturity of the guaranteed loans, maximum amount of the guarantee, and annual fee rate.

Dr. So Phonnary, President & Group Managing Director a.i of ACLEDA Bank Plc., said it was a great honor and pleasure for the Bank to be the partner with AFD in boosting the development of ACLEDA Bank Plc.'s business financing activities, especially towards small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
