ACLEDA Bank Plc. and Cambodia Kantha Bopha Foundation Sign MOU for Mobilizing Donation

Phnom Penh – October 1, 2019 – ACLEDA Bank Plc., the bank you can trust, the bank for the people and a leading commercial bank in Cambodia, has announced today that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Cambodia Kantha Bopha Foundation on using ACLEDA Bank Plc.'s services to mobilise donation and generous fund to Cambodia Kantha Bopha Foundation, under presidency of H.E. Nguon Sokha, Secretary of State of Ministry of Economy and Finance and as Chief Executive of Kantha Bopha Hospital Foundation Cambodia, and Dr. In Channy, President & Group Managing Director of ACLEDA Bank Plc.
Dr. In Channy, President & Group Managing Director of ACLEDA Bank Plc. said "The people's health, in particular children, is a major foundation in building strong and sustainable labor force which is a vision of Royal Government of Cambodia. The ACLEDA Bank Plc. keeps supporting and cooperates with Cambodia Kantha Bopha Foundation to achieve this goal. I today have a great honor to sign MOU with Cambodia Kantha Bopha Foundation so as to create convenient means for mobilizing generous and contribution fund from the public through ACLEDA Bank Plc.'s service to Cambodia Kantha Bopha Foundation, aiming at contribution to health care service to all children who are the bright future of the Cambodia. The purpose of the MOU is to ease citizens who want to donate and contribute their generous fund to Cambodia Kantha Bopha Foundation at any counters of ACLEDA Bank's offices, ATM machines, and using digital product (E-Banking)."
Dr. In Channy added "The public and customers can access to the Bank's services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via ATM machines, ACLEDA Unity ToanChet which is a mobile banking for remittance, payment and purchase of goods at anytime, anywhere through ACLEDA QR Code very fast, convenient, and highly secured. By today, there are over 1 million customers and 8,500 partners registered to use ACLEDA Unity ToanChet."
