According to the press release on the website of the Cambodia Securities Exchange (CSX) on 24 November 2020, ACLEDA Bank Plc., the first commercial bank listed on CSX, held the Shareholders' Extraordinary General Meeting chaired by Mr. Chhay Soeun, Chairman of the Board of Directors. Meanwhile, the Shareholders' Extraordinary General Meeting was attended by public shareholders and approved nine agendas of which the first agenda has been interested. It is the change of ACLEDA Bank's logo.
Dr. IN Channy, President & Group Managing Director of ACLEDA Bank Plc. said that ACLEDA Bank proceeds to release a new trademark, but retains its original spirit, identity and value from which was accumulated over 29 years since its existence.
The new logo is a symbol of mythical bird standing in the middle of a blue circle, denoting sustainable strengths and prosperity of the Bank. With this new branding, we aim at modernising our trademark to complement our vision, mission, strategy and advancement in financial technologies.
The 3 colors of the new logo are 1. White represents Ethics (Transparency, Honesty and Integrity), 2. Gold represents Value and Quality, and 3. Blue represents Unity, Stability and Wellbeing. The combine of the 3 colors presents seeds and resources with sustainable growth and development in financial sector.
Dr. IN Channy added that the new logo is projected to be officially launched in January 2021. He would like to thank all stakeholders, customers, shareholders, especially the relevant authorities who always support and continue to support ACLEDA Bank Plc.
