Agreement Signing Ceremony on Usage of Electronic Payment Services for Fee Online Payment for Investor Identification Number

Phnom Penh, December 7, 2022, ACLEDA Bank Plc. "ACLEDA Bank" the first listed Commercial Bank in Cambodia, hereby announces that it has signed an agreement with Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia "SERC" on Usage of Electronic Payment Services for Payment on Online Investor Identification Number (ID).

Through this agreement, investors can make an online payment for Investor ID such as X-Pay (ACLEDA Bank Plc. Local Payment Gateway) or ACLEDA mobile (Deep-Link), or MPGS (Payment Gateways for international cards such as VISA, Mastercard, Diners, JCB, and UPI Card) for the convenience and safety.

Mrs. Mar Amara, President & Group Managing Director ad interim of ACLEDA Bank, said that due to the significant growth in the securities investment in Cambodia Securities Exchange "CSX" and to boost the confidence and convenience to investors for ID Online Registration Fee. Hence, ACLEDA Bank & SERC have reached the agreement on Usage of Electronic Payment Services for Fee Online Payment for Investor ID. Under this agreement, investors who wish to start investing in the CSX will be able to make fee online payment for Investor ID through ACLEDA mobile, X-Pay system, and international cards such as VISA, Mastercard, Diners, JCB, and UPI Card.

She added that ACLEDA Bank has always committed to serving its customers by diversifying its banking and financial products and services as well as developing the banking electronic system and digital financial technology systems to meet the customers’ needs and contribute to the development of the Securities Market in Cambodia more active and vibrant. Meanwhile, she expressed her deep thanks to the SERC for choosing ACLEDA Bank for serving payment services to make fee online payment for Investor ID and always supporting ACLEDA Bank.
