Sponsorship Agreement between ACLEDA Bank Plc. and Football Federation of Cambodia

Phnom Penh, 19 September 2023, ACLEDA Bank Plc. "The bank you can trust, the bank for the people" announces that today ACLEDA Bank has signed a sponsorship agreement with the Football Federation of Cambodia (FFC) in order to sponsor in the amount of USD200,000 (two hundred thousand USD only) for 2023 and 2024 to take part in supporting and developing football in Cambodia.

Dr. In Channy, President & Group Managing Director of ACLEDA Bank Plc., said that social contribution policy of ACLEDA Bank is a social responsibility linking to the Royal Government's policy to promote sport sector, especially taking part in sustain development of Cambodia football. ACLEDA Bank would like to contribute and support the development and promotion of football in Cambodia through signing a sponsorship agreement with the FFC for 2023-2024.

He added that sport, in particular football make us good health, active, and well understanding on value of team work and encourages us to make all-out effort without abundance since sport brings us discipline, dedication, high commitment which could lead to success. In daily life, sport is a means for communication and friendship. On this auspicious occasion, it is a great pleasure for ACLEDA Bank to be a sponsorship partner with FFC to support the skill development of Cambodian soccer.

He expressed his true appreciation to leadership of H.E. General Sao Sokha in leading the FFC so far. Under supervision of His Excellency General for more than 10 years has made remarkable development of football in Cambodia in both quantity and quality, including the ability of players, coaches, officials, referees and professional football clubs have ability to participate in the regional and international football matches. Under the leadership of His Excellency General Sao Sokha, Cambodia football has continuously grown and well-known on the international stage.
