ACLEDA Bank signs MoU on providing loans for workers and trainees to work abroad recognized by the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training

Phnom Penh, August 9, 2024, ACLEDA Bank Plc. "ACLEDA Bank", the first listed Commercial Bank in Cambodia, hereby announces that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding "MoU" with Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training "MLVT" on providing loans to workers and trainees working abroad under the high presidency of Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia.

ACLEDA Bank always obtains high trust and has been selected by the public institutions of Royal Government of Cambodia as their partner in using ACLEDA Bank's financial services. This factor has motivated ACLEDA Bank to continue to expand its networks, improve the services quality, and innovate a digital banking system to take part in the financial inclusion throughout the Kingdom of Cambodia and continue to the region.

The MoU aims to establish strategic cooperation and mutual understanding between the MLVT and ACLEDA Bank in order to provide the reasonable size, acceptable interest rates, and best conditions of loans for supporting workers who want to work abroad. This initiative aims to meet the individual financial needs, enabling them to develop skills as well as gaining the international experience.
