In the morning of May 1, 2025, Her Excellency Dr. Pech Chanmony Hun Manet, Permanent Vice President of the Cambodian Red Cross, met with top management of ACLEDA Bank Plc., led by Dr. In Channy, President & Group Managing Director of the Bank, brought a fund of KHR 800,000,000 to support the Cambodian Red Cross on the occasion of the 162nd World Red Cross Day on May 8, 2025 and the 70th anniversary of the Cambodian Red Cross under the theme "Together as volunteers for a healthy and climate-resilient community".
Since 2005, ACLEDA Bank has supported the Cambodian Red Cross 18 times, with a total budget of KHR 7,470 million and USD 12,770.
On the occasion of meeting with all the top management of ACLEDA Bank, Her Excellency Dr. Pech Chanmony Hun Manet conveyed the royal greetings of Her Majesty Queen Norodom Monineath Sihanouk and the greetings and deep gratitute of Samdech Kittiprittbandit Bun Rany Hun Sen to ACLEDA Bank Plc., which has always contributed to the Cambodian Red Cross by donating funds and materials with honestly and voluntarily, which is truly valuable in promoting the culture of sharing and connecting donators with the beneficiaries of the Cambodian Red Cross.
Dr. In Channy, President and Group Managing Director of ACLEDA Bank, also expressed his deep gratitude to the Cambodian Red Cross, under the wise leadership of Samdech Kittiprittbandit Bun Rany Hun Sen, allowed banks and donators from the private sector to participate in humanitarian activities with the Cambodian Red Cross.
