ACLEDA Bank Reaches New Heights

A new landmark has appeared on Monivong Boulevard with the topping-off of ACLEDA Bank's elegant state-of-the-art headquarters building in the prestigious Sangkat Srah Chork area. A ceremony to bless the building is held on July 04 to celebrate the laying of the roof and to bring good health, fortune and prosperity to all customers and staff of the bank.
The new headquarters will afford 6,800m2 of working space including a grand atrium banking hall with a public area of over 500m2. Parking space for more than 168 vehicles will be provided for in a separate car park at the rear and provision for the protection of customers handling large sums of cash has been included. Designed by the internationally renowned Dutch/Thai firm of Royal Haskoning/Chuchawal-de Weger, construction is to the highest international standards with special attention paid to security, fire protection, energy conservation and occupational health and safety. The special needs of the physically handicapped have also been planned for and separate facilities for money exchange, Western Union and 24-hour ATM access will be provided.
In Channy, ACLEDA's chief executive, said "This occasion marks another auspicious event in an exceptional year for the bank, a year in which we opened in Rattanakiri and Mondulkiri thus bringing banking services to every provinces in Cambodia through our networks that now stand at 146 offices. Our investment in our new headquarters demonstrates our confidence in Cambodia and our commitment to the now more than 250,000 customers who put their trust in ACLEDA."
