Inauguration Ceremony of ACLEDA Bank New Office, Phnom Penh Branch

On July 04, 2006, at 4:30 PM at ACLEDA Bank Plc new office at #29, Street 217 (opposite Olympic Stadium), Sangkat Veal Vong, Khan 7 Makara, Phnom Penh, celebrated the inauguration ceremony of ACLEDA Bank new office with presence of distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen, value customers, businessmen and businesswomen. In the ceremony, Mr. In Channy, General Manager of ACLEDA Bank Plc, gave a short speech to the guests at the new branch office.
He said the new branch office offered a wider service area and was located in business center that would be convenient for customers to operate their financial transactions with our bank. With this new office, we could build a better confidence for our customers to ACLEDA Bank; especially the bank would provide E-banking service to enable its customers to withdraw their money with 24-hour ATM access including public holidays and weekend.
By the end of May, 2006, ACLEDA Bank had loan outstanding portfolio of US$117 Million with 143,432 active customers, which was including 96,301 micro businesses, 40,591 small enterprises, and 1,946 medium enterprises and relatively ACLEDA Bank had received the savings and deposits of US$86 Million with 110,385 accounts. So using ACLEDA Bank financial products or services meant you had direct investment in micro businesses, small enterprises, and medium enterprises in Cambodia. All money you had with ACLEDA Bank was being invested for the development of Cambodia, and in Cambodia.
He added ACLEDA Bank would continue to expand its branch network to get closer to its customers and remote areas that banking services had never been introduced. Recently, ACLEDA Bank had expanded its branch network to Rattanakiri and Mondulkiri provinces, thus bringing banking services to all the 24 provinces/towns in Cambodia through our networks that now stand at 146 offices. Our new headquarters on Monivong Boulevard to be finished by the end of 2006 would demonstrate our success and confidence in Cambodia.
