Grand Opening of Saang District Branch New Office

ACLEDA Bank Plc. Saang District Branch, located along National Road No. 21, Preaek Run village, Preaek Koy commune, Saang district, Kandal province, Cambodia, celebrates grand opening of its new office presided over by H.E. Deputy Governor of Kandal Province, His/Her Excellency, all levels of authorities, Chairman and Board of Directors of ACLEDA Bank, President & CEO and Management of ACLEDA Bank as well as many other distinguished guests.

Mr. ORN Bunly, Vice President and Branch Manager of ACLEDA Bank Plc. Saang District Branch, stated, "By August 31, 2010, Saang Branch consists of 5 offices, 108 staffs, a total asset of almost USD6 million, 7,333 customers crediting over USD5,3 million and 6,067 customers depositing over USD2,5 million and many customers using other services. Especially, we have one ATM to serve customers holding ACLEDA Card, ACLEDA VISA Card, and other banks' VISA Cards globally.

"Now Saang Branch has moved to this new commercial bank's standard building of 3 floors and consists of large working space and banking hall. It was built for security, fire prevention, energy reserve, convenience and sound environment. This is a remarkable achievement in Saang District Branch during this year which shows the strength and ongoing improvement in serving best financial services to meet the needs of all customers," he added.

During this grand occasion, Mr. IN Channy, President & CEO of ACLEDA Bank, said, "Currently ACLEDA Bank has 83 standard offices and others under ongoing construction. This provides the most comfortable and efficient facilities for our customers to conduct their financial transactions, particularly to safeguard their assets with ACLEDA Bank."

He also expressed his grateful and warmest thanks to the Royal Government, the National Bank of Cambodia, the authorities, and over a million loyal customers who had always supported ACLEDA Bank. Hence, the bank could increase its asset from over USD22 million in December 2000 to over a thousand million US dollars at the end of August 2010. Yet, in October 2006 it was transformed into a branch for full operation widely in Saang district; and this reflects the enhancement of its operation and business.
