ACLEDA Bank's 238 Offices celebrated the 6th Kan Ben Ceremony

Phnom Penh: In the morning of October 06, 2012, ACLEDA Bank's 7,553 management and staff throughout 238 branches and offices, traditionally meet together at any other pagodas all around Cambodia celebrate the sixth day of Kan Ben Ceremony and dedicated to blessing the spirits of the dead, show respect for their ancestors. For ACLEDA Bank's management and staff from Headquarters joined with Vimean Chaktomok Branch, Beung Trabek Branch, Mean Chey Branch, Tuol Kork Branch, Russey Keo II Branch, ACLEDA Securities Plc., and ACLEDA Training Center celebrated together at Niroth Reangsey Pagoda located at Beung Chhuok Village, Sangkat Niroth, Khan Meanchey, Phnom Penh.

Mr. In Channy, President and CEO of ACLEDA Bank with his colleagues offered the rice to the spirit and gave Buddhist monks gifts of food, to pay their respects to deceased relatives of parents, grandparents up to seven generations and their ancestors. They dedicate the last prayers to their ancestors blessing them to live in happiness forever.

Of course, Pchum Ben ceremony is not just a tradition religious festival, but it has given us a very meaningful of lesson to learn about morality, forgiveness, and live together with peacefully. Thus, we are all including our valued customers really have a great fortune celebrated this Kan Ben Day to push our Khmer traditional religious festival to a higher level and keep taking care this for our ancestors."
