Phnom Penh, January 11, 2016, ACLEDA Bank Plc., the Bank You Can Trust, the Bank for the People and the Cambodia's leading commercial bank with a largest branch and office network of which with 304 local and overseas has celebrated the ground breaking ceremony for its Disaster Recovery Data Center that is belong to ACLEDA Bank Plc., located at National Road No.6A, Kraom Vilage, Preaek Anchanh Commune, Mukkampoul District, Kandal Province, in order to manage the international standards disaster recovery data with high security, and online connected with ACLEDA Bank Lao Ltd., ACLEDA MFI Myanmar Co., Ltd. and other countries where ACLEDA will be locating and operating.

Disaster Recovery Data Center of ACLEDA Bank Plc. is the international standards center with the most highest security that can be protecting and recovering all data effecting from any significant disaster. The construction of Disaster Recovery Data Center is comply with the bank's long term strategies which has been developing and upgrading Electronic Banking Service (EBS) with Financial Technology Solution (FinTech) and Branchless in order to expand outreach and serve the customers more conveniently, increase income efficiency, create cross-selling opportunity, be competitive advantage both local and oversea. ACLEDA Bank Plc. has strategic plans to develop the Digital Banking-Mobile App, allowing both ways global access via existing electronic banking service and enhance its Biometric, CRM plus new financial products-services to support self-service to create an effective way for operation expenses, apply modern technology, generate cost efficiency, expand global businesses and customer base, and support subsidiaries to get more growth.

This Disaster Recovery Data Center will be constructed with international standards; a total surface is 9,906 m2 and the building size is 32.00m x 38.80m high with 5 stories for 88 sever racks used for 30 years, and will have the ability to expand up to 172 server racks. This building will be built by PISNOKA INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION LTD., which is one of the professional and reputable construction companies with its registered No. Co.2268KH/1996 and located in #51, Street 322, Boeung Keng Kang 1, Chamcar Mon, Phnom Penh, Cambodia. ACLEDA Bank Plc. has obtained its construction permit No. 186 DNS/RDN dated on December 18, 2015 by the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction and General Construction Department. The construction is commencing in January, 2016.
