ACLEDA Bank Supports the Development of Tourism and Ecotourism Communities

In the afternoon of March 26, 2025, at the Ministry of Tourism, His Excellency HUOT Hak, Minister of Tourism, held a courtesy call and working discussions with Dr. IN Channy, President & Group Managing Director of ACLEDA Bank Plc. and colleagues.
This courtesy meeting and working discussion are of great importance, aimed at supporting the development of the tourism sector and ecotourism communities to help boost national economic growth.
In addition, the cooperation between the Ministry of Tourism and ACLEDA Bank Plc. focuses on the provision of digital services by ACLEDA Bank Plc. to explored the possibility of supporting the tourism sector by providing loans to assist the tourism and hotel sectors, especially in areas under the government's strategic master plan, including: Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, Kep, Mondulkiri, as well as collaborating with tourism communities that have various businesses to use the bank's KHQR, which will provide loans (Merchant OD loans) for business operations.
