ACLEDA Bank Plc. Signs Agreement with Daikin Airconditioning (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. on Using Buy Now Pay Later Service

On Thursday morning, March 13, 2025, ACLEDA Bank Plc. ("ACLEDA Bank") officially announced that Daikin Air Conditioning (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. ("Daikin"), an international air conditioner importer from Japan, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with ACLEDA Bank, the first listed Commercial Bank in Cambodia — regarding the use of Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) digital credit services.
This partnership will allow customers to purchase goods or services and make bank payments later through AC Super App.
Mrs. Sok Sophea, Group Chief Operations Officer of ACLEDA Bank, said that ACLEDA Bank is pleased to partner with Daikin to offer BNPL credit services. Through this MOU Signing Ceremony marks a significant milestone in our collaboration.
The Buy Now Pay Later Service is designed to provide our customers with a flexible financing option, allowing them to purchase goods and services via AC Super App instantly, the system will automatically approve the loan, customers can get the goods and make the repayment to the bank later.
This partnership reflects our commitment to delivering innovative financial solutions that cater to the evolving needs of our customers and including all of Daikin's distribution merchants. With this service, customers would enjoy the comfort of new air-conditioning systems with high-quality which imported from Japan, without the burden of one time full payment and a simple payment process through AC Super App.
She added that this partnership aims to enhance customer accessibility to air-conditioning products, enabling consumers to reap immediate benefits while managing their payments over time. Payment options, customers can make payment via ACLEDA Bank QR Code, POS and all Apps of Bakong members, all ACLEDA cards, along with CSS cards and all types of International Credit/Debit Cards.
